Blog content should be enticing & informative. Don’t forget to added images for a nice, visual appearance. Market updates, special announcements on open houses or price changes, how to’s, interior design tips, landscaping ideas, seasonal postings, all make for a dedicated blog reference that your viewers will follow continuously and share your posts with others they know that might be selling or purchasing.
Provide videos (30 seconds to 2 minutes) just long enough to make it worth their while and short enough to not lose their attention. A phone video works just as nice as any others. Be sure to video local places, businesses, parks, beaches, different neighborhoods clips. Show them what you know through your own eyes!
Friendly Tip #1: Take the time to go around and visit with your clients. Take along a checklist of items they may need repairs on & offer your local connections to a handyman, yard maintenance, etc…Make it unique to what they enjoy, bring them items of appreciation like a few small plants or a basket of seeds with gardening tools/gloves. Doing this throughout the seasons reminds them they are special to you & that you truly care. They’ll not only appreciate it, but remember you often for referrals or when they are ready to invest again in a purchase or sale.
Friendly Tip #2: Host a Client Party. Many of my agents do this throughout the year to welcome a new season, anniversary of monthly clients (such as the month they sold/purchased their home). Remember to include your connections to the local businesses that can offer great services: window repairs, painters, etc…This is a great way to not only do something different than your competition, but show your gratitude towards your clients.
